On Friday 13th November, the newly elected DCIS Student Council representatives from Years 5 to 11 participated in a full day training course.  Students took part in team building activities, learned how to hold a formal meeting, trialled different methods for collecting ideas from their peers and discussed the boundaries and possibilities the Student Council must work within. Students were brimming with enthusiasm and had some excellent ideas about the positive change they are envisioning. The day culminated in an informal ‘networking’ opportunity with members of the Senior Leadership Team, including Dr Hopkin and Dr Roach, Zoe Hancock (Head of the DCA) and other key members of the Administration Team. We are very excited about the future of the Student Council and look forward to working with them across the rest of the academic year. Well done to all representatives who participated!
