It was an honour to have such sporting heroes here at DCIS. The Year 10 GCSE students had the opportunity to take part in some Hurling activities and learn the techniques and difficulties of using a Hurl and a Silotar.

Furthermore, some of our Year 7s also got the opportunity to learn about and play Gaelic Football, using some basic rules and scoring points.

The children were mesmerised by the skill and knowledge of the players. It was a great event all round!
