Storm Strikes U8 Girls Football Again!

Girls Football forced to play indoors with bad weather on the horizon

  • U8 Girls Football at SAS 2017

This week the U8 Girls Football were at SAS (Singapore American School), and after finally finding the football pitch with some very excited girls wanting to play football, a roar of thunder sounded down on us and yet again Singapore weather was winning.

The decision was made to go indoors where the children really did well in their first game, battling away and working really hard to get a goal, but unfortunately the whistle went before we could find the net.

The team then did very well against a strong AGS team. The long journey home was filled with a continuous song list, with Justin Bieber heading up the play list this week. Luckily the bus was large enough and Mr Liperis was able to move the children towards the back so that their rousing chorus wouldn’t disturb the driver.
