We had a wonderful last day today at MIT. Our schedule began with some lightning talks from university students at MIT about their work. These included students of nuclear, bio and aerospace engineering. One of the many star students was Andrew, President of the MIT Rocket Club. Andrew hails from Durham, North Carolina and his passion is innovative rocket design with the purpose of making humans an interstellar species. In 2015, the MIT Rocket Team came in first place in the International Rocket Engineering Competition in Utah, beating out 36 other universities from seven countries. Afterwards his presentation on How to Build a Rocket, NAE students had the opportunity to ask him about his work and what it's like to study at MIT!

Next, students went to explore the ‘A’ in STEAM with an art workshop based on the art found all around MIT.

Students then embarked on a visit to Harvard, including a tour of the university and even got to see an original Gutenberg bible.

We ended the day with a glow in the dark party at BISB Boston to round off a brilliant week.

Thanks to all involved in making this week so amazing and memorable for students and staff alike.
