Dear DCIS Parents and Guardians,
It is at the end of a busy term that I finally get to say my thanks to all our lovely primary children for their hard work and enthusiasm that has continued right until the very end of term. I know the children are tired and ready for the break, and I hope they are already well into enjoying their time off as they make plans for the weeks ahead.
A huge thank you also goes out to the teachers and TAs for their ongoing hard work and motivation. It has been a hugely successful year – much has been achieved in the Primary School and, of course, none of this could have happened without the dedication of our amazing staff.
And let’s not forget the parents! Your ongoing support over the year, in so many areas of our school life, has been noticed and appreciated.
As the academic year comes to an end, we sadly say goodbye to some of our DCIS Primary School families and teachers. In our tight-knit community, where every individual child and adult matters, I can honestly say that all our leavers will be missed and I wish every one of you well with the next adventure. For those returning, I wish you a restful break and look forward to seeing the children back in August.
Have a great holiday everybody, rest up and play hard – you deserve it!
Best regards,
Ms Kara Lebihan
Head of Primary School
