  • Year 6 Mandarin Trip - 'Little Red Riding Hood' in Mandarin

On Thursday 31st  August, Year 6 students headed out for a half-day trip to watch the Mandarin version of the classic fairy tale 'Little Red Riding Hood ' at the Singapore Repertory Theatre.

With the current Mandarin learning topic being 'Little Red Riding Hood', the trip was a perfect opportunity to bring the topic to life. This was Year 6's first Mandarin trip and there was so much excitement! The students enjoyed this classic fairy tale with a new twist.

This musical adventure appealed to their imagination and retraced this traditional storyline with Mandarin language throughout. Additionally, they learned and experienced key vocabulary in line with this topic in Mandarin.  It was an educational trip and everyone was touched by this amazing show. Thank you to all Mandarin and Year 6 teachers who supported our students in this musical encounter!
