Joining our family
We look forward to welcoming you into our LCIS community.

We’re delighted that you’re considering La Côte International School Aubonne (LCIS) for your child’s education. In our vibrant and welcoming school environment, they’ll flourish as part of our thriving community of students, teachers, and alumni.

At LCIS, we pride ourselves on our warm and friendly approach from the moment you contact us, on your child’s first day, and throughout their time at our school. We’ll do everything we can to ensure your experience of applying to and joining LCIS is smooth and exciting.

LCIS is an academically ambitious and non-selective school. We offer places all year round to students already in Switzerland and those currently living abroad. Our Admissions team are dedicated to ensuring you have a seamless experience when joining our school.

Some students need English as an Additional Language (EAL) support to accelerate their learning development. LCIS is committed to tailoring their learning, and we’ll assist you in finding the level of support to benefit them most.

A place at LCIS is offered upon evaluation of your family’s application form and your child’s previous school reports and depends on availability within the year group requested.

We want to give you as much help as we can through your admissions process, and our friendly and professional Admissions team are here every step of the way, whether you live locally or abroad. We provide every prospective family with personalised support - available in English or French.

Meet our Admissions Team

Raphael Vergnaud
Director of Admissions and Marketing

Born in the USA, I grew up in Switzerland and pursued my university degree in Canada. My experience at international schools has truly shaped who I am as a person today. As someone who is extremely passionate about both sports and education, two industries that help shape future leaders, I consider myself fortunate to have worked in both. As the father of a young child, I know how important it is to choose the right school for your child! Here at LCIS, we strive to make sure your needs are always met. Please feel free to get in touch!

Lyliane Stewart
Admissions Manager
It has been my pleasure to assist families in their search for a new school ever since I joined LCIS in 2016. Having lived abroad and raised a multi-cultural and international family, I understand the challenges faced by multi-cultural, bilingual, and expatriate families, and I'm honoured to be a member of a school that supports families from around the world.
