Yuki Xu

Teacher of PE & Dance

My name is Yuki. I have been teaching PE and Dance at BSG for more than 5 years. During the summer of 2018, I was invited to The Juilliard School, located in New York, where I received excellent Dance CPD. During 2018-2019, I started teaching the Juilliard Dance Curriculum for KS1 and it was an amazing experience. The chance to bring to life the outstanding dance curriculum for all BSG students to experience and enjoy has been one of my highlights of my teaching career so far.

This year, I have started teaching curriculum dance lessons for Y2 and Y3. I am really looking forward to inspiring the next generation of Darcey Bussells.

My main passion is Dance — not only learning a new dance by myself, but also watching people dance in difference ways. I like to see how people around the world dance when they are with emotion, and I also like to share what I have learned from it — which makes me happy!

Besides learning, watching and teaching Dance, I like reading, cooking and travelling. Especially visiting different countries and cities, to know people living in different cultures. When I have time, I also like to read a lot of books. My favorite books are Harry Potter, Paddington Bear and Alice In Wonderland. I always love the books with beautiful pictures and amazing stories.
