Year 2 Teacher

BA (hons), ABCTE

After graduating from the University of South Carolina, I went on to study acting and drama at the Stella Adler Studio in New York.  My experience there enhanced my desire to travel further a field and discover more of the incredible and diverse world we live in.  I began this journey with a one-way ticket to Guangzhou, which I must confess, I knew little about at the time.  Since arriving here I have completed my ABCTE (American Board of Certification of Teacher Excellence) qualification.

I have also directed a production of Alice in Wonderland and created a film version of The Peace Child at my previous schools, so I hope to be able to use my background in acting and drama at BSG. My favourite pastimes include reading, running (albeit slowly!) and travelling, so I look forward to exploring more of China, Asia and beyond in the coming years.
