Year 7-10 Enrichment Programme

Students in Year 7-10 enjoyed a jam-packed programme to round off the school year. Over two full days, they engaged in a carousel of activities, related to our six established co-curricular activity (CCA) strands of Sport, Physical Recreation, Performing Arts, Care and Service (CAS), Language and Culture, and Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEAM).

By the end of the programme, it’s fair to say they were all pretty exhausted but had thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the following activities:

  • Old school sporting activities
  • Hiking in the Buda Hills
  • Fable recreation
  • Performing
  • Directing
  • Stage and costume design
  • T-shirt hacking
  • Forces of nature - making stick bombs and soundwaves
  • Wild thing – identifying plants and insects around the school site
  • Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) waste sculptures
  • A Hungarian culture quiz
  • The Tanzania Exhibition
  • Sign-language – getting to grips with some essential signing
  • Cultural icebergs - exploring intercultural awareness
  • Rocket building – putting STEAM skills to the test

Following on from an incredibly successful Sports Day, a lot of fun was had by everyone involved. It was a really lovely way for all the students and staff to collaborate and cooperate on a whole host of activities in a variety of different settings. A massive thank you to all the students and staff for making it such a fun-filled few days.
