The BISB MUN Team is proud to announce that Daniel in Year 12, has been appointed as Secretary-General of Model United Nations. Joining him on the Executive Board is Khadija in Year 12, as Chief of Staff, and Julianna in Year 11, as Chief of Communications and Logistics.
Furthermore, the club has received many applications from our members for the Rotating Chair position. This is intended for our more experienced members in order to guide and teach our newer delegates. During these past three weeks, we have been replicating a formal United Nations meeting, following parliamentary procedure on the topic of the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.
In Model UN, members can improve their speaking, leadership and debating skills, alongside retaining talents such as being able to write speeches spontaneously.

Following the postponement of Journey’s End before Christmas, we are pleased to announce the new dates.
Year 9 have been showing their green fingers/thumbs by trying to germinate cress seeds under various conditions, to see what is important for the seed growth.
There was more basketball on Saturday. This time our U14 Girls A and B teams had their DVAC Festival here at BISB.
