Year 13 have been moving through their final unit on Organic Chemistry and performed a practical to extract limonene from, you’ve guessed it, oranges. (It is also in lemons, but oranges make the laboratory smell nicer!) They used simple distillation to collect the oil from the orange peel, and then performed a test to prove that it was what they expected it to be - it was.

Last week, the British International School Budapest campus came alive with colour, energy, and excitement as our youngest students took part in the annual Primary and Early Years Sports Day!
A huge congratulations to Lizanna (Year 4) and Laura Ivánka (Year 9) for an incredible week of achievements in science and innovation!
