On Saturday, BISB hosted three major sport events and attended one in Bratislava as part of the season closing DVAC Tournaments. Our U14 (Middle School) Girls brought a well deserved third place trophy home from Bratislava, winning three games and drawing one. This is a huge achievement for the girls as they have managed to move two places up on the DVAC rank list since last year.
The U14 Boys' Football team stayed in Budapest and despite losing a lot of their key players since last year, they have stepped up on the podium winning the third place title overall with excellent play and fantastic teamwork.
The U19 (Varsity) Girls' Volleyball team played in their new formation for the first time this season and has shown some promising performances, playing three challenging games in total. In the same tournament, the Boys' Volleyball have become DVAC champions, remaining unbeaten, showing outstanding skills, playing creative tactics and displaying indescribable levels of energy.
Athletes and spectators from ten different schools from Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest have witnessed a great day full of heated but fair competition, camaraderie and beautiful weather.
Our thank goes to all student athletes for their amazing achievements, officials for the professional conduct, coaches for their unwavering enthusiasm and expertise and all our supporters for making this day such a success for the community.
GO WOLVES!

This week in English, Year 8 shared their completed magazines in a collaborative press event. There was a lovely buzz in the classrooms, and we were very impressed with both the quality of the work produced and the professionalism with which they pitched their final products to each other and the Year 12 Muse students who came along as well.
