Originally from Australia, with strong ties to Poland, Dr. Blake Parham brings international experience and a deep passion for music education.

Blake holds a PhD in Music from the University of Sydney, a Master of Philosophy in Music, and a Bachelor of Music with Honours in Classical Voice from the University of Adelaide, along with UK Qualified Teacher Status. His career spans teaching in primary and secondary schools, as well as training future educators as a university lecturer. Most recently, he was Head of Primary Music at The British School Warsaw.

An accomplished classical tenor, specializing in comedy roles, Blake has performed across Europe, Australia, and China. He is also a published music researcher and has presented his work at conferences around the world.

Blake believes in a holistic, inclusive, and engaging music education for students of all abilities. His teaching style blends creativity, cultural diversity, academic rigour, and a strong commitment to incorporating humour and enthusiasm into the classroom. Blake was one of the first teachers to complete the Juilliard Accomplished Teacher program and has designed innovative, purpose-built music curricula that incorporate Juilliard Creative Classroom resources alongside other curricula.

Blake looks forward to inspiring students through dynamic lessons that nurture musical literacy, creativity, and performance confidence. He is also keen to enhance and develop the school’s extracurricular programme to provide opportunities for a wide range of student musicians across musical genres.
