BA, QTS, PGCE
Tracy is very excited to be joining the Early Years Team at the British School of Beijing, Shunyi in August 2023.
Tracy holds a BA Honors Degree in Primary Education with qualified teacher status (QTS) and has completed the postgraduate ‘Leadership Pathways Programme’ at Manchester University. She is also a qualified early years practitioner (Nursery Nurse).
After teaching in the UK for sixteen years, across the early years and primary, Tracy moved to China. She has worked for Nord Anglia for the past six years, teaching at both the British School of Nanjing and more recently the British School of Guangzhou. She has held many leadership positions including: SENCo, Literacy Coordinator, Read Write Inc Lead Teacher (phonics programme) and Early Years Assistant Lead.
Tracy is a passionate early years teacher who believes in creating a safe, play-based learning environment which encourage children to be curious and imaginative learners.
