BSG Guangzhou Scholarships 2024/25
I hope that you have all had a great break and enjoyed the holiday, it has been a busy time for the Community Partnership. Staff, parents and students have been helping with projects over the holiday and bringing joy to others. We have been able to continue with the weekly breakfast distributions, giving out much-needed supplies and checking on those in need. As a community we joined in with Homeless Love's Project Jingle Bells with the BSG CP donating 550 sets of hats, gloves and socks. Staff, parents and students then helped with the packing of these items to go along with the other items the charity had funded and distributed them around the city. Each gift bag also contained a card written by the team. Well done and thank you to all involved.
We have had many events that have been postponed due to VSE and it is fantastic news that these will still happen at a later date throughout the year. These events include Halloween and CNY activities, fun runs and World Children's day. This is just to name a few, please watch this space and a big thank you for all your support for the BSG CP projects.
We are delighted to share fantastic news about our students’ outstanding university admissions success! Two BSG students have secured highly competitive places to study MEDICINE in the UK, a remarkable achievement given the strict admission quotas for international students at UK medical schools.
A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing parents for taking the time to complete our recent survey! Your feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the future of our school, and we are delighted to receive such positive responses.
At BSG, we dedicated an entire week to celebrating International Women’s Day with engaging and meaningful activities, ensuring that every student understands its significance.
Last week, our dedicated teachers and leaders travelled to Shanghai for the Nord Anglia China International Schools Leadership Conference, focusing on "planning for the probable, while considering the possible."
