BSG Guangzhou Scholarships 2024/25
Last week, our dedicated teachers and leaders travelled to Shanghai for the Nord Anglia China International Schools Leadership Conference, focusing on "planning for the probable, while considering the possible."
Why does this matter to your child? Because we're committed to providing the best possible education! Our team spent days learning about cutting-edge educational practices, ensuring our students receive an even richer learning experience.
Here’s a glimpse of what they explored:
We're exploring how technology can personalize learning and enhance your child's educational journey.
We're focusing on strategies to help students understand their emotions and develop effective learning habits, leading to greater self-awareness and academic success.
We’re bringing back new techniques to make lessons more engaging and interactive, so your child stays motivated and excited about learning.
We’re refining our feedback methods to provide clear, actionable guidance, helping your child grow and improve.
We are continuing to improve and refine our bilingual education, to give your children a strong foundation in both English and Mandarin.
We are improving our ability to deliver high quality sports programs for all students.
We're incredibly proud of our teachers, Andrew Esdaile, Chad Hayward, Sophie Costello, Tim Richardson, Laura Williams, Kerry Millar & Cam Maunder, who shared their expertise by leading workshops for other schools! Their dedication ensures our students benefit from the latest and most effective teaching methods.
At BSG, we're constantly investing in our teachers so they can provide the best possible learning environment for your children. We believe in continuous improvement, and this conference was a fantastic opportunity to bring back fresh ideas and strategies to our classrooms.
We are proud to celebrate the achievements of Shumei, a 14-year-old rising talent at BSG, whose artistic and personal brilliance continues to inspire our community.
What a fantastic three days in Chengdu for the Nord Anglia China Region Multi-Sports Festival, hosted by Léman International School Chengdu.
Last Saturday, over 180 guests gathered at The Ritz Carlton hotel for a memorable night of fundraising, fun, and giving back. Guests traveled from Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, dressed in their best black tie and ball gowns, ready to support a great cause, Wilber Foundation.
At The British School of Guangzhou, we pride ourselves on being more than just an academically outstanding British international school in China—we are a community built on strong values that shape character, foster excellence, and prepare students for success in life.
