The British School Yangon recently hosted its much anticipated production of Pantastic – The Peter Pan Musical, and the evening was nothing short of spectacular. Families, friends, and staff gathered to celebrate the creativity and confidence of our students, who brought the timeless story of Peter Pan to life with remarkable energy and imagination.

The third MIT Challenge at BSY was an inspiring showcase of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. Students were tasked with reimagining how buildings could withstand extreme environments, pushing them to think beyond traditional design and into the future of resilience.

This past weekend, the British School Yangon proudly hosted the World Scholar’s Cup 2026 Regional Round, welcoming an extraordinary number of schools and students to our campus. The event was a vibrant celebration of learning, collaboration, and global community, with hundreds of young scholars engaging in debates, quizzes, and team challenges.

The recent Year 5 and 6 residential trip to Pranburi, Thailand was an unforgettable experience that blended adventure, discovery, and personal growth. Over several days, our students immersed themselves in nature, embraced new challenges, and strengthened friendships in ways that will stay with them for years to come.

At the beginning of Term 3, BSY was delighted to welcome the Jacana Project into school for a bespoke enrichment workshop that combined ornithology and art for our Year 6 students. This inspiring experience brought together arts education, real-world conservation learning, and hands-on skill development.

We are incredibly proud of our BSY students who recently took part in the FOBISIA U11 Games, competing against some of the strongest schools in the region. Despite the extremely hot conditions, our young athletes demonstrated outstanding resilience, bravery, and determination throughout the event.
