Congratulations Nguyen Minh Trung on your achievement in gaining a Secondary Merit Scholarship for the academic year 2022-2023

Following the launch of our recent Merit Scholarship for Year 7, 8 and 9 students, we’ve been pleased to receive a large interest from many students between the ages of 11 and 14 who wanted to apply. 

Owning an excellent academic performance over the last two years and outstanding performance in different projects that require leadership skills, Nguyen Minh Trung was honored to receive a scholarship of 190 million VND to enroll in Year 9 within our International Secondary Programme at BVIS from Term 2 in January 2023. 

To achieve the scholarship, Minh Trung performed extremely well in his academic assessments during the first round and the interview round with Mr Simon Higham, Principal and Mr Toby Bate, Head of Secondary. 

During the interview, he impressed the school leaders when sharing his great passion for History. Trung believes that the knowledge gained at school will inspire his future plans. 

Ms. Thuy, Minh Trung's parents are happy to share about her son's achievements, "Minh Trung's brother has also studied at BVIS since 2017, so our family are confident in the quality of education and dedication in teaching at BVIS. This scholarship will facilitate Minh Trung to study at BVIS from this school year, and at the same time, motivate him to make more efforts in the future.” 

Our Secondary Scholarship Programme for the academic year 2022-2023 provides an opportunity for students who own outstanding academic results and wish to participate in the dynamic international learning environment at BVIS.  

Upon receiving the scholarship, Minh Trung will access the international Secondary curriculum at BVIS which follows the National Curriculum of England. With guidance from highly experienced and fully qualified teachers and a stimulating learning environment, Minh Trung and his friends will further explore their strengths, skills, and passions. 

Our Key Stage 3 curriculum (Years 7, 8 and 9) prepares our BVIS students to effectively access the IGCSE programme (Year 10-11) and the International A Level programme (Year 12-13).
