The children in Teddies Pre-Nursery are settling beautifully into their new learning environment. The new Teddies classroom allows the children space to explore the different areas of the room and independently self-select their own play activities.
The Teddies children are enjoying exploring a wide range of fun play based learning activities with their new friends and adults in class. All resources and activities are carefully selected and planned by the teachers to ensure that children are invigorated by their learning, whilst working towards their own developmental goals. We have also been making the most of the glorious sunshine by playing outside as much as possible. The teddies children love making a mess, but they also love cleaning up too and have been busy washing the fence and kitchen area outside with soapy bubbles!
The children in Teddies also take part in circle times, where they sit on their special photo mats to sing songs and play games with their whole class or small group of friends. We have been learning special ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ songs and many of the children already love to join in with the actions to these songs. They are now all starting to say happier goodbyes to their families at drop off time, as they start to settle in to a happy, fun school life in Teddies Pre-Nursery class.
