Charlotte joined BSB in 2017 and has also achieved excellent IGCSE examinations results of 3A* and 7A in 2019.

1.How has studying at BSB helped you achieve academic success/ university acceptance/ personal development?
BSB has helped me realise my potential as there has always been teachers here encouraging me to achieve the best grades possible for myself. I also have greater confidence in my abilities and am willing to participate in any offered activities or events.
2.What do you think is special about BSB?
The small year groups in Year 12 and 13 allow for a tight knit community where everyone is familiar with one another.

3.Which is your favourite school trip/residentials? What do you like about the trip?
Our Year 12 residential trip to Tanzania. The combination of being able to work together with school friends outside of an academic environment and working toward a global issue with building the school, visiting the children's home and building goat sheds.

4.Who is your favourite teacher and why?
Ms Donnelly. She has taught me in several subjects (English and ToK) and was my Extended Essay supervisor. She is always there to be able to talk about concerns or worries whether school related or not.
5.Please describe any charity work that you have participated in?
Volunteering at an animal shelter, bird's of prey rescue centre, horse stables and farm during lambing. Bake sale with money donated to UNICEF
6.What advice do you have for other students at school?
Enjoy your time at BSB and get involved in everything you can in order to experience every moment of it. There is more to school than just academics and having experiences with friends from events, residentials/trips and sports is important too.
