The students in my care have consistently achieved outstanding results that reflected their true abilities. I have very high expectations for all students and expect them to achieve results that are commensurate with their true abilities. I am very passionate about Design and Technology and its impact on the real world and am dedicated to helping young people achieve their full potential.
I originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, and after a series of careers I studied for a Bachelor of Education in Design and Technology at Greenwich University; I also studied for a PGCE and MA in Design and Technology at Sheffield Hallam University. Additionally I have completed a range of shorter courses in a wide range of subjects, including Psychology, Counselling, Bricklaying, Welding, Blacksmithing and Database Design.
My recreational activities mostly orbit my teaching subject and include wood turning, fine furniture making, automotive projects, blacksmithing, and electronic product repair. I also enjoy Martial Arts of various types and have been studying these since the age of sixteen.
