The British School of Guangzhou follows a strict safe recruitment policy. As such, the School will ensure that all staff employed undergo the highest possible levels of identification and qualification verification. All employees must hold up-to-date clearance documents from the UK’s Criminal Record Bureau/Disclosure & Barring Service or equivalent, as provided by an official body, and will be asked to provide a minimum of two relevant references from reputable sources that will be independently checked by the school’s Human Resource department before employment begins. Failure to comply will result in unilateral withdrawal of any employment offer or contract.
