University Degree: MA Translation Studies with TESL
Before I came to China, I worked as a translator and interpreter for the NHS and the local government in the UK, but after ten years I felt like a change in both career and location. I started at BSG two years ago as a Primary TA, and thanks to the school’s continued support, I am now able to use my professional skills, academic qualifications and passion for foreign languages in my role as MFL teacher. My ultimate aspiration is to inject BSG students with a love for languages.
I love to travel, so when I’m not teaching the lovely BSG students German, I enjoy exploring Guangzhou, the surrounding areas as well as destinations abroad. I’m passionate about foreign languages but also like singing — so to combine the two I listen to a lot of international music.
