Richard Dobbs

Head of Drama

Having worked as both a Drama and Maths teacher in the UK for a number of years, I moved to international education in 2017. I taught at NACIS Shanghai, Nord Anglia’s first China Bi-lingual school for 4 years, staging productions; developing the collaboration with Juilliard; and launching the IB Theatre curriculum.

Having visited BSG last year, as part of a Nord Anglia training course, I was instantly impressed by the atmosphere of the school and the welcoming nature of the staff and students. I remember saying to a colleague that it was a school I would be more than happy to work at: I was delighted when an opportunity to join the team presented itself.
