BA (hons), PGCE
After completing my degree, I spent a year in China working as a teaching assistant at the British School of Beijing. It was here that I quickly fell in love with educating and inspiring young people and decided upon a career in teaching.
I completed my PGCE through the University of Buckingham and worked as a teacher in Beijing for a further five years. After six amazing years in China, I wanted to explore another part of the world and so moved to the British College of Brazil.
During my time in Sao Paulo, I took on the role of ICT coordinator and helped to launch the iPad programme throughout the school. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in South America but after two years, the lure of the delicious food and adventure of China proved to be too strong and I was delighted to accept a position here at BSG.
I have 3 passions in my life: football, travelling and my dog. When I am not at work, I enjoy everything to do with football. I play football as often as possible on the weekends, and when I am not playing, I can probably be found watching my team, Manchester United. I travelled to Asia extensively during my 6 years in Beijing, but I am really looking forward to seeing more of South China while in Guangzhou. Joining me on my travels is my dog, Gordo. He is a British Bulldog and he loves to eat, sleep and snore!
