I graduated from Durham University in 2006, specialising in child psychology. After a short spell working in fashion, I returned to university in 2008 to complete my PGCE and continued professional studies in 2014, gaining my NPQML. Beginning September 2021, I will be returning to university once more to complete a master’s degree in ‘Mental Health and Wellbeing in Education’- wish me luck!
My teaching career began in London, where I worked for several years, before moving abroad in 2015. BSG is my third international post, having previously taught in South America and Africa. I am thrilled to be here at BSG and in China- I’ve been having an amazing time immersing myself in Chinese culture and the various delights that this incredible country has to offer.
Outside of teaching, I have 3 children who keep me very busy, as well as a grumpy cat and an extremely energetic puppy! As a family, we enjoy the arts, swimming, playing games and exploring new places. Personally, I love to read, cook, workout listen to music and visit the theatre.
I look forward to the next few years teaching at BSG and getting to know more of its fabulous students, as well as working my way through my China travels bucket list.
