University Degree: BSc Astrophysics, BA Education in Secondary Science and Mathematics
I began my professional training by completing an Honours Bachelor of Science in Astrophysics at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, followed promptly with a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Science (Physics) and Mathematics from the University of Ottawa, in Canada. I have been a registered member of the Ontario College of Teachers since. I began my work as a qualified teacher with a local school board in Ottawa as an Occasional Teacher, as well as an instructor in after school drop-in programs. Upon moving to China, I taught senior level physics and mathematics at a school with a Canadian program.
Throughout my life, I have been blessed with the opportunity to live in different countries around the world, including in North and South America, Europe, and now, Asia. My love for travel grows with every new place I encounter, as I love learning about the different ways people live around the world, and from the many interesting points of view that you are exposed to everywhere you go.
