I am a registered member of the Chinese Mental Health Association and have spent most of my counselling career in the sector of international education. The last two schools that I served at are Korean International School and ULink College in Guangzhou where I offer counselling services to year 9 to 12 students, faculty and families with student centred issues. I also provide school crisis prevention and intervention services, parent class and actively promote mental health awareness in the community. Having a strong faith in life long learning, I believe that social and emotional wellbeing is extremely important to a child's development and success. The ethos of BSG, Be Ambitious, beautifully presents such philosophy and I am so excited having the opportunity to serve in the caring and supportive learning environment that BSG creates.
Apart from taking enormous time on training and supervision for professional growth, in my spare time I appreciate the beauty of Japanese literature and enjoy reading, travelling, learning a foreign language, as well as spending time with loved ones including 5 cats. I am truly a 'mad cat lady' and a senior volunteer at local cat rescue centres.
