Learning is not confined within four walls–and who knows it better than young children! The Nursery Raccoons have been busy exploring the outdoor spaces and all the exciting learning experiences on offer. For many the water station is a regular favourite where they can explore pouring, sinking and floating, and transporting the water using lots of different containers. They also love to be active on the climbing frames, finding endless ways to travel up, across and down, and then they are off to journey to new lands on the scooters and bikes. Jumping, swinging, sliding, running - our great outdoor spaces allow them to be brave in trying new things and taking risks in their play. And then when they need a little rest, they love to gather in the hobbit house where they use their imaginations to go on space adventures to the moon or enter fairy land. It is busy and tiring work playing when you are in Nursery Racoons!
