The First BVIS USA Colleges and University Week.

23 September 2016

The first BVIS USA Colleges and University Week has been a fantastic success.  Our year 12 and 13 students have been engaged throughout the week in a range of activities designed to help learn more about undergraduate study in the USA.  During the week representatives from over 20 US Colleges and Universities have been on site to talk to our students.

A highlight of the week was the USA College Fair on Thursday when both students and parents had the opportunity to talk directly to the admissions staff from some great colleges.  Students also had the opportunity to take part in workshops and seminars on studying in the USA, college admissions essay writing and how to choose the right college for you. But perhaps the students’ favourite activity was the quiz in which they got to have a free doughnut for correctly researching and answering a question about an American college.
