Mr Paul Holyome Weekly Update - 10/02/2017

10 February 2017

Dear Parents

I trust that you had a wonderful Tet holiday with your family and friends. I took the opportunity myself to do some travelling and felt very refreshed on return this week.

It has been a hugely exciting week with some of our secondary students leaving for a four day expedition as part of their Duke Of Edinburgh International award. We have invested significant money in support of this venture, including staff training and I hope the students have appreciated the new ruck sacks that we have provided to assist with this challenge. At the same time it was great to see so many excited Year 4 children heading off on their 2 day residential. I am sure they will have a fantastic time and very many great stories to tell on their return.

Earlier in the week I sent you an email with details on our annual parent survey. I would be really grateful if you could take some time to complete this survey. Only one questionnaire per family needs to be completed. It is very important to me that we listen to what parents have to say and respond appropriately. There have been many changes in the school over the last few years that have been influenced by feedback from our parents and students and I wish this to continue, you will see some examples below. The children and your families are our number one priority and we continually strive to ensure the we are offering the best quality resources and education.

I wish you all a very relaxing weekend.
