Our Annual Family Charity Fun was held at Krylatskoe Lower Campus in aid of Melisa Erdem. Our brave students and wonderful families put in an outstanding effort to show off their fitness and determination to raise money.

With Christmas just around the corner, it was time for our annual Swimming Showcase events. Each event began with a short lesson to give parents a glimpse of coaching techniques and training.
On the 8th of December, Deutsche Schule Moskau hosted the 8th MISAS Basketball Tournament and ISM was invited to compete against other international schools. As always, the competition was fierce……..

Another exciting football tournament has recently taken place with teams from different schools converging on Brookes Moscow for a soccer showdown. The competition was indeed fierce, heated and full of moments to remember. However, there can only be one winner!
Experiential learning empowers children in a way that guided, dependant work does not. Children are able to pursue their own areas of interest and solve problems as they occur. Their learning becomes relative to their own interests and thus, can produce higher levels of focus and concentration.
On Lower Campus, we don’t believe that education is confined to the classroom.
No matter what the subject or skill is, it can be taught and developed further at home too.
A quality Physical Education programme is one that incorporates learning at school and at home. Through play or via completion of their homework, children continue to learn.
The beginning of the 2018 football season at ISM has been the busiest yet with a total of seventeen fixtures and students competing in tournaments across all age groups. Attendance at training, games and tournaments is at an all-time high. Big improvements have also been made in terms of both performance and our teams’ ethos.
The ISM Swimming Gala was a celebration of sporting spirit, perseverance and camaraderie. All participants’ sights were firmly focused on victory and competition was fierce.
‘The Beautiful Game’ once again brought pupils together at The ISM Lower Campus Football Cup as footballers displayed their silky skills and sportsmanship.
