The Terry Fox Run came to ISM Rosinka for the fourth successive year. On Monday the 16th of September, over 235 students, 50 teachers and many parents took part in our incredible charity event in support of The Terry Fox Foundation.

The Terry Fox Run is an international charity run that takes place all over the world in support of the Terry Fox Foundation. Mr Charlton led an assembly all about Terry Fox, where he shared information about this inspirational person. Students at ISM Rosinka ran around the school campus for 15 minutes and had to complete as many laps as they could in the set time. Students and teachers from Pre-Nursery to Year Six took part in this popular event and raised a huge amount of money to support the Terry Fox Foundation, Melisa Erdem Fund and New Life in Sport (a disability in sport charity based in Moscow).

The highlight of the event was the incredible Colour Tag game, where over 50kg of powder paint was used. With 8 different colours filling the playground and the surrounding area, it will most certainly be remembered as one of the best events of the year. Mr Keach even described the playground as ‘very Jackson Pollock’, and as a school we raised just under 300,000 rubles.

Thank you to all the students, parents and staff members who helped make this event so enjoyable. We are very much looking forward to the event again next year.

Happy running!
