Christmas Comes to EYFS Rosinka with ‘Stick Man’

The life of ‘Stick Man’ can be very challenging. From being used as a flag for a sand castle, a stick for a dog’s favourite trick or as a Pooh-stick to win a race; nobody seems to understand that he is not just any usual stick, he is in fact, ‘Stick Man’.

One morning, ‘Stick Man’ goes for a jog but little does he know that this would lead him far away from his family tree. He gets lost and it is Christmas Eve. Will ‘Stick Man’ ever find his way home in time for Christmas? 

With a little help from his new friends, Santa, Rudolph and Frosty; ‘Stick Man’ finds his way back home to his Stick Family and happily reunites with Stick Lady Love, Stick Brother, Stick Sister and Stick Baby just in time for Christmas morning.

With some of our favourite Christmas songs, such as 'Jingle Bells’, ‘Deck the Halls’ and ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’, the whole hall was bursting with Christmas festivity throughout the performance. 

The audience sang along energetically to songs like 'Who Let the Dogs Out?’, ‘Baby Stick’ (our fun version of ‘Baby Shark’). There was a green screen video to the song ‘Amarillo’, sharing Stick Man's Twitter highlights over the past decade. 

The production was a roaring success and all the children were outstanding entertainers and performers. They acted, sang and danced their little hearts out, leaving all parents and teachers beaming with pride. 

The children demonstrated their growth over the last term and exhibited a clear example of the life skills they have learnt, in preparation for their future both inside and outside of school life at ISM.
