The classrooms of Lower Campus were bubbling with excitement recently, and not only from the children. Members of each family joined us for a morning of learning in their child’s classroom and we couldn’t have been prouder hosts.
The children demonstrated to us all just how well they are settling into their new rooms and routines. With outstanding behaviour in every room, the children collaborated with their parents to complete tasks and activities together.
The looks of pride on everyone’s faces were plain to see. Children were absolutely delighted to show-off to their audience, while parents were excited to see their children participating so actively in their learning experiences.
Perhaps most exciting of all was our renewed focus on collaborative activities. Watching parents and children work together to create school memories that will last a lifetime was rewarding indeed.
At The International School of Moscow, we are very proud to work together with parents to raise children of strong character. Our Open Day event was a great expression of these community value, and we can’t wait to invite parents back for more events soon.
