Learning has continued in the final few weeks of term including the construction of Rube Goldberg devices with a restricted set of materials within a limited space. The children enjoyed collaborating together in teams to make them work and showcase their final designs to each other.
We revisited telling the time and all the language involved in this complex area of maths. The best way to learn is to have a watch. The fashion of watch wearing is sure to make a comeback.
Poetry is fun to write. Some forms of poetry have rules, yet also poetry can have none. The children explored Haiku’s of Japan, Limericks of Ireland and Stanzas.
Pacman has been an inspiration for children to showcase their understanding of coding language as they created their own versions and how their Pacman would be controlled using programming.
I feel privileged for the responsibility to teach such a fabulous cohort of children and have enjoyed every moment. A warm-hearted thank you to all the parents for their support and trust. Wishing all families the very best, safe journeys and a fantastic summer break. ‘Success!’
