It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of another term. Whilst our students and teachers have certainly achieved an incredible amount since January, the time still seems to have flown by – perhaps because of all that hard work!
When thinking back over the last three months it is impossible to pick out one single event that is particularly memorable; indeed it is the culmination of the many events and activities that make each term, and our whole school community a success.
As a leadership team, we have been spending some time during the last month thinking about how we can continue to enhance our educational provision; improve and ensure effective communication and involve all members of our school community in achieving the best educational outcomes for our students and providing a supportive network for all our families.
I would like to thank those of you who completed our Parent Lens Survey earlier this term. We have now received the results and are using the analysis to prioritise areas for development. As part of this work I am keen to invite interested parents to join me in forming focus groups, on a range of topics, during the summer term. Please feel free to drop by my office or send me an email if you would like to take part.
As we come to the end of the spring term and as you prepare to spend quality time with your children and your families over the next week, I invite you to think back over the last three months and remember some of the highlights we have enjoyed this term: Chinese New Year, Book Week, the Global Classroom Water Challenge and the many music and sporting events that have taken place, to name just a few. Let us also look forward to the term ahead and all the things we have planned that will lead us to the end of another memorable academic year.
I for one am excited about all the things that are yet to come; the celebrations, the successes, the accomplishments; the pride and most of all the smiles and the sounds of laughter and chatter from all of our students, that I am fortunate to hear every day, reminding me of what a special school we have here at BSB Sanlitun.
Have a lovely holiday everyone.
