Chinese Update

All children in different groups have had a busy and fun week in their Chinese lessons.

  • Nursery Chinese lesson

In Reception we continued to learn the topic of occupation. Children expressed what they wanted to be when they grew up in Chinese. They also did role play and practiced in Chinese to explain how those people could help us such as 'fire-fighters can help us put out fire' - 消防员可以帮我们灭火 (xiāo fáng yuán kě yǐ bāng wǒ mén miè huǒ).

Nursery Children talked about transportation. They learned the names of the different types of transportation in Chinese and played a flying game with their own paper air plane.

In Primary, this week Year 3 children in Forbidden City Group started their lesson with a dialogue and created an ending according to the story. They practiced very hard and then performed this story by groups.
