ASAs off to a flying start!

ASAs have gotten off to a great start this term, with plenty of action in all fields of play and learning. Here at BSB Sanlitun we offer a large variety of ASAs from sports, academic learning, artistic and so much more. With such a wide range of learning on offer, it gives students a chance to broaden their horizons and take up a new activity.  The opening of the new Li building has given us more spaces to use for ASAs. There is now access to a brand new cooking room, dance studio and green screen room for the students.

Cooking is a great way for our children to learn about new foods and the different counties and cultures that they are linked to. Have a look at the pictures to see Miss Clark and Miss Mang’s KS1 cooking ASA, where the children have made up their very own fruit skewers.

Mr. Champness, our new head of Performing Arts, leads KS2 Orchestra ASA creating and exploring all types of music and instruments. The children get a chance to perform and collaborate with some of their other musical peers.

Mr. Maynard, Year 3 Parrots teacher, Leads KS1 tag rugby. Coming from a rugby background and playing competitively, Mr. Maynard can pass on his skills and energy to the children as they learn about the game.
