Wondering how to help your children stay motivated this school year? Want to help your child to be ambitious and work their hardest? Join the British International School of Boston on Wednesday, October 7 at 6:30 p.m. to kick-off the 2015 Speaker Series with "Motivating Students to Choose Success."

This free event will feature nationally recognized speaker, Susan Fitzell, M. Ed, CSP, also known as The Homework Guru. Susan is a dynamic, presenter, author of more than 10 books for teachers and parents, and an educational consultant. 
A mother, teacher, and martial artist, Susan has over two decades of experience identifying and meeting the needs of youth.
Attendees will learn how to:
  • foster motivation at school and at home
  • motivate the unmotivated
  • empower youth to reach their goals
  • make homework and studying fun 
  • identify and teach body language that exudes confidence 
This event is FREE and open to the public, so we encourage you to bring your friends, family, neighbors and others who live in the Boston area.
The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with refreshments in the school gymnasium. The presentation will begin promptly at 7 p.m. Susan's books will be on sale following the presentation for any interested parent.
