Primary Assembly

The Primary school assembly was visited by Tamas and James to 'kick start' our BISB Performance Poetry Competition. This is an annual competition where children in KS2 all compete within their year group to try and gain a place in the KS2 final. Having had success both in school and in the Budapest International School Poetry Competition, Tamas and James delivered very charismatic performances. This year the final will be on March 2nd at 13.30pm in the auditorium and we will have a guest judge Ms Virginia Proud. Ms Proud has appeared on stage here in Budapest countless times, has starred on US tv shows and has been a member of the board for Poetry Australia. More recently she is probably best known for being the Artistic Director of the Budapest English Theatre. We look forward to another great competition and enjoying lots of poetry.
