Tammy (12B) and Alice (12A) are happy to tell that your contributions to the talent show
have helped us to raise the incredible total of 450 800 forints. This does not include the money
raised during the non-uniform day on Friday the 30th of January. This money will go to the school “Les Cajoutiers” in Senegal: a school that BISB is proud to have financially supported for over 6 years.
Although all the participants have worked very hard in order to perform, unfortunately we were
only able to award three winners:
- Hendrik form year 12 playing a magnificent piece on the piano has won the Secondary Prize:
two Sony headphones,
- Cilli in year 6 who sang the beautifully “Jar of hearts” from Christina Perri and won the Primary Prize from Victoria Music Hangszerbolt in Budapest,
- Daniela in year 12 won the audience Prize with her outstanding performance: an Ipod Touch from the Apple Store…
Finally we would like to thank once again the PTA for their precious support and people for
coming and bringing their contribution to the project. Finally, remember that there are more actions taking place in February in order to support the project, among which the "Valentine roses”.
We very much hope you have enjoyed your night as much as we did and keep in mind the lives
you have nourished in Senegal this year.
