Year 12 Universities Trip

  • ucas2
  • ucas3

Thursday, 25th June was our students' day at the UCAS Convention at Queen Mary -with over 140 UK universities represented, it was a good opportunity for students to chat to universities we are not able to visit. There were many key note speakers whose short lectures students could attend on student finance, housing and making their applications.

The students then went onto visit UCL (University College London) and then the students split into two groups with some going off to do the tour of LSE (London School of Economics) with Mr Warmington and the others with Miss Uhure went off to do some sightseeing at London Bridge.

In the evening, after dinner, the students went either to see the new Jurassic World movie at the cinema or went to see the west end production of McQueen. It has been nice to see the blue sky in London starting to appear in their photos and the T-Shirts.

On Friday, they visited both Warwick and Birmingham Universities.

"Hard to believe where the week has gone!"
