As part of our Hungarian History studies we made felt balls. Felt (nemez) is a material made of wool, which long ago Hungarians used to make their tents called jurta. Ms Gyöngyi asked Ms Bocz to teach us how to make ‘nemez’. We had to rub soap and water on wool to shape a small ball, then we had to keep rolling it for a long time in the palms of our hands. It was an exciting and fun lesson.
