Donations needed!

15 November 2018

As some of you might already be aware, many of our Primary and Secondary students (and parents!) are knitting scarves that will be donated to the Wesley Janos Nursery in District 8. The nursery works with children from disadvantaged backgrounds who will really benefit from a nice warm scarf this winter.

Arts and craft
Ms Marcu, Mr Russell and I will be visiting the nursery with some students on 4th December and we would like to bring some arts and crafts supplies with us. The children love to get creative and they would really appreciate having some extra materials for their winter/Christmas activities. If you are interested in donating any new/unused supplies (colours, crayons, coloured paper, glue, scissors etc.) please bring them to school before Friday 30th November. Secondary students can leave their donations in A14 and Primary students should give theirs to Ms Marcu. Please be aware that all materials should be appropriate for students aged 3-6.

Adult winter clothing
The nursery is located between two homeless shelters. If you have any adult winter clothes that are clean and in good condition, please bring them into school and we will make sure that they are delivered to the shelters before the weather turns very cold.

Many thanks for your support!
