Primary Maths Week

This week our Primary school has been enjoying Maths Week. Morning Brainteasers, Loopy Lego Challenges, Tangram Puzzles and a Shape Scavenger Hunt were just some of the fun activities the students took part in over the week. Our dedicated Year 6 House Captains and Peer Mentors were on hand to collect house points and supervise the lunchtime activities.

All students also took part in the Mangahigh and COBIS Maths Challenge online where they competed in Maths activities against approximately 135,000 students in 270 British international schools around the world. At the time of writing BISB is in 23rd place! All students who earn over 150 points will receive a medal. For the Maths Week finale, students were invited to come into school dressed as a ‘Numeracy Ninja’.
