U14 Girls DVAC Basketball Tournament

13 March 2018

Big congratulations to both the A and B teams which travelled to Vienna recently. Both teams fought valiantly and tirelessly against some much older teams. Our BISB teams have worked hard since September to improve their skills, strategies and tactics.

The B team played 3 games back to back and showed true grit and determination as the tournament progressed. The A team played our local rivals and beat both teams, progressing to the final. In the final they faced the Vienna International School in a hard fought contest.  The girls played tough defence until the bitter end but our opponents proved to be too strong. We were very proud to come away with 2nd place. Keep an eye out for our next tournament where we go head to head against other Nord Anglia schools. Warsaw here we come!
