Year 4 Heather Assembly

26 April 2018

Year 4 Heather did a wonderful job performing ‘True Colours.’ The assembly was about embracing diversity, appreciating each other’s differences and accepting people for who they are. It was about having the courage to stand up for what you believe in and learning to live in peace.

What our students say:

Raveen – “It was fun playing my part and at some points I could say what I feel.”

Gabriel – “Everyone was trying 100% when our parents were watching. The message was important: even though you don’t look the same and sound the same, it’s not a reason to hate each other. My favourite line that I said was, ‘We don’t touch things belonging to you, heaven knows we might turn blue!’ “

Attila - – “My favourite line I said was, ‘I won’t lie and say it’s easy. The Blues and Greens might talk behind your back. They might call you names. But being yourself is better than living someone else’s lie.’”

Sophie – “My favourite line I said was, ‘I guess we’ll just have to see if the Blues and Greens ever learn to work and live together'."
