Instrumental Concert

24 May 2018

On 15th and 16th May our instrumental students collaborated to provide two evenings of music for their parents and friends. The two evenings were well attended and we heard 75 performances from students in Year 2 to Year 12.

A varied repertoire was heard on a range of instruments: piano, drums, violins, guitars, voice and saxophone to name a few. Some of our instrumental students even supported each other, accompanying either on piano or as part of a band. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our instrumental teachers for their encouragement and support that they offer our students on a weekly basis. It is fantastic to see so many students involved in instrumental lessons and I am excited by the amount of enthusiasm and talent for music within our school community. To all the students who performed last week, well done, a solo performance like this takes a huge amount of courage and you all excelled yourselves.
